Lying weasels.

A lie by omission is just as bad as a lie of commission.

Each year, the Treasury produces a mammoth report summarizing the federal government’s financial situation. While the Treasury presents the national debt as it’s commonly understood, and separately presents its own calculation of unfunded liabilities of Social Security, Medicare and similar programs, nowhere in 258 pages does the department combine those numbers and present the hideous $100-trillion-plus total.

The absence of that grand total is no oversight: Letting citizens see the stark reality of the government’s financial condition simply isn’t in the interest of our rulers, whether they’re on the blue team or the red one.

Counting only Treasury borrowing, the federal government’s $31 trillion debt equates to 117% of the country’s $26.5 trillion gross domestic product (GDP), a figure that approximates the country’s annual economic production. That’s alarming enough, but if we use Truth in Accounting’s numbers, the total is a jarring 589% of GDP.[1]

We can NOT get a straight answer from these grifters.  DHS Sec. Mayorkas says our borders are “secure.”  That’s a flat out lie . . . let me repeat that, That’s a flat out lie.  Buuutttt . . . he can spread it without fear of punishment.  The lickspittle MSM ought to baying at that swine’s heels but no.  That won’t happen.

Set on Justice Clarence Thomas over a nothingburger financial disclosure matter?  Why, stop the presses!  Debt equal to current and unfunded liabilities of $156 trillion (or $933,000 per taxpayer)?  Nothing to see here, paisanos.  No need to get excited about that because that’s what printing presses are for, amirite?

And if it bothers you that all that money got spent and will be spent on something that someone else thought was Just The Right Thing, well . . . then you can just suck it up.  535 senators and congressmen know what’s best for you so how about you just bugger off.  Private school tuition for your kid?  Pay down your mortgage?  No money wasted on reckless, ruinous, destructive, murderous foreign war?  No subsidies for illegal immigrants’ college tuition?  It is to laugh.  Two words, suckers: “Thelma” and “Louise.”

Oh, and don’t forget to get your covid shot.  That new strain looks to be doozy.
